Which artist needs a complete greatest hits CD?

Which artist need to have complete(or better) greatest hits albums?

I have a few but they are sorely missing key tracks. Example El debarge (Real Love).

Why are there some artist who don't have greatest hits collections (Karyn White) and others have them who don't deserve them (Portrait greatest hits?).

(If Capitol records was going to put out a Portrait greatest hits, where is the Tracie Spencer collection?)

(I would love to see hits packages on Sheila E., Chico Debarge, Jernaine Stewart)

***Madonna---she needs a really good 2-CD set that features all of her hits (from 1983-2005) in one place.

It'd take more like 3 or 4 discs, methinks.

Warners wants to release a multi-disc box set,but for the time being,Maddy isn't interested confused it'll probably see the light of day after she leaves Warners.I think she only owes them one more album.

Why someone like Annie Lennox? She has only three albums and one of those is purely cover songs! I don't see the need for a greatest hits for artists with 3 cds or less. Now as previously mentioned, Jamiroquai DO need one since they have six albums all with original content and some amazing songs to boot smile

Not that I'm slagging off Annie at all I love 'Diva'.

If you ever watch Jay-Z's movie Fade To Black or even his Unplugged show, it becomes apparent that a proper retrospective should be in order. Especially since he's retired RIIIIGHT? wink

As for Missy, maybe you don't like her, but she's had 6 solo albums and hits on every one. I think a DVD is in order because she's like the best video artist of our time.

Kate Bush. She needs one that includes The Sensual World and The Red Shoes. It's a little too early for Aerial's songs right now.

Janet - one that combines the A&M and Virgin years. I'm currently working on a comp that consists of 7" edits of every Janet single released anywhere in the world (or at least according to voicescarry). It adds up to about 4 hours.

J and Missy have so many hits and collabos that they could each probably fill 2 discs of hits.
