Okay, just listened to Dolly Parton's version of "Stairway to Heaven", and it does not do the original version justice. Of course, Dolly puts a little bit of a country spin to it, which is probably why I don't care for it. Can't stomach country music, it sucks donkey balls. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

http://www.youtube.com/w/...20zeppelin so, speaking of Stairway....with respect to the bustling hedgerow, is it a "spring clean" for the May Queen, or a "sprinkling?" Spring clean. Funny you say that though, because I remember being about 10 or 11, sitting there with a pen and pad of paper trying to figure out the lyrics. I thought for sure it was "sprinkling". I ran in the same thread a long time ago on Zepp's song and The Ojays. At the time, only a few folks appeared to even know that the Ojays had a song by that title. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

Actually, I was telling Val that I love her cover up until the, uh, banjo solo. Then it's not so great. But why on earth did you even listen to it if you don't like country?

Okay. wasn't sure there, that's why I was asking. Glad to know you weren't flipping me off. Reading about Dolly's cover on this song got me curious, so I thought I would check it out. Curiosity killed the cat. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.
