MadonnA: Confessions Tour 2006 Set List

WORLD EXCLUSIVE - Since rumours about the setlist of Madonna's Confessions tour are floating around, Drowned Madonna decided to offer you the first look at the actual Provisional Setlist in order.

As you can see, it is a little different from the one published by The Sun. So are you ready to Dance and Sing? Opinions?

Future Lovers
Get Together
Like a Virgin
Jump
Live to Tell
Forbidden Love
Isaac
Sorry
Like It Or Not
Sorry (remix)
I Love New York
Let It Will Be
Ray of Light
Drowned World/Substitute for Love
Paradise [Not For Me]
Music
Everybody
Deeper and Deeper
Lucky Star
Hung Up

I think it's suicide that she's playing 7 new songs in a row and one of the songs she's playing twice! Lame.
People bore when you play too much new material consecutively. She needs to space it out a bit. Also I heard that the themes were "Disco"(I like), Equestrian(Retarded) and Middle Eastern (Disgustingly Politically Cliche, don't you think?).
She's never bee one to hide from cliches though.
I guess we will have to wait and see. She did suprise me with The Drowned World Tour. I thought it was great. The Re-Invention Tour was quite boring.

There's already a thread to discuss this:

And like all setlists, this is but a rumour still, not even DrownedMadonna can toot their horn about being official when they've been wrong in the past.

If you have been following her carear for any lenght of time. You would know that she has had the Middle East theme going for a long time First Appeared in Like A Virgin in Blonde Ambition, Than came again in the Girlie Show with Vogue then Virkriam Mix of Nothing Really Matters and Shanti and Cyber-ragga have alot of Middle East themes.

10 out of 12 Confessions songs? I thought I just read that there would only be 6. We should just have one thread for all these kinds of rumors.

PREACH!! lol

'Confessions' is SUPERB,truly the best album she's done in years! I have no problem with her performing all,or most,of these songs on her tour.As far as I'm concerned, she could perform the entire album in the same order as it appears on the CD,and then throw in a few oldies for the encore.

If this is the real setlist,I am thrilled clapping

I'm ecstatic that "Deeper and Deeper" and "Lucky Star" are being performed. And isn't it cool that she'e leaving out the over-played "Holiday"? Btw,the "Sorry" remix is probably just an interlude segment, played while she is offstage preparing for the next set.And I'm betting that "Future Lovers" will be a video....kinda like "The Beast Within" on the Re-Invention Tour.It will then lead into the real "opening" song,"Get Together".

I can't wait for this tour!!!

Ummm I have been following her career since the beginning. I never said that she hasn't been using the middle eastern theme...if you were actually paying attention while reading the post instead of getting all russled and resentful you might have seen the post for what it actually was. Oh and the "Like A Virgin" version of the song was tinged with a middle eastern flavor, but the performance had nothing to do with a middle eastern theme. Nothing Really Matters was Japanese which is not anything close to Middle Eastern(I'm assuming she's going for the Iraq/ Iran/ Israel feel). Oh and any music fan who has been following Madonna's career would agree that Shanti and Cyber-Ragga are cyber-BORING.

have you heard the Virkiam mix of Nothing Really Matters on the Maxi single? that is what i'm refering to. ALso don't forget that Erotica and the Beast Within are very middle eastern influneced as well. And I'm personally a fan of Shanti and Cyber-ragga.
