Plot, schmot! Who needs one when you're that hot?

Plot, schmot! Who needs one when you're that hot? True, and it is a dance song,so who needs a serious plot? But remember how captivating the "Bad Girl" video is? I miss seeing drama in her videos!

Saw this last night and I thought it was great, although I agree more of a plot would be nice. Madonna hasn 't looked that good in a video for years, not perhaps since Vogue. The colour, lighting and camera work were fantastic.
I also think the next vid will be a continuation of that one. When the beatbox was sat on the curb with the lights on it twinkling, i could almost hear the music to Jump starting up. My hopes for that though are that she'll do another black and white vid, perhaps switching between B&W and the vibrant colour of the Sorry vid. Like I said, more of a plot would have been nice, thats what normally distinguishes her from the likes of Ms Carey and Beyonce. This video will get A LOT of rotation on MTV.

Sorry! Oops no pun intended, but watching Madonna single-handedly try to revitalize Disco and the '70's just makes her look older to me. Yeah, her body's tight and she can probably crack a walnut with her ass-cheeks but the whole vibe she's got going now, show's her age and adds a decade. JMHO! [Edited 2/9/06 4:48am]

yeah what's that all about and it doesn't even mean "i'm sorry", it translates roughly as "i am sad" and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

She couldn't say "het spijt me" (I'm sorry in Dutch) because then she would pleed guilty on the plagiate case she had here over in Belgium, so she's not sorry but she's sad for all the dutchies

Yeah, I don't think I'd list Hung Up as being anywhere near flopsville. I wouldn't call it a flop. But I do know I literally only heard it once on the radio in MPLS. That was at 10:30 PM on a weeknight too, not exactly prime airtime. And, I unfortunately have only a radio in my car so I listen to A LOT of radio. So, while I wouldn't call it a flop, it certainly wasn't a smashing success or anything. I don't think it's a song that the average American would know at all. "Don't Tell Me" is probably the last single that I'd truly call a US success. Based on my terms, that is.

The rabid fans call into that show like crazy just to pump a song's visibility. Hung Up peaked high on the Hot 100, but it peaked quickly and didn't stay there very long.
