That spray stuff they use to touch up their jheri curl is nasty lol. When I was in grade school, there was a girl im my class I used to tease, and she would spray me in the face with that stuff.

my mom still owns the headboard to the bed that she had while she was styling a curl. you could see the spot that she rested her head against while watching television, the chemicals in her head strip the lacquer and varnish to the bare wood.

A slight cosmetic change from the afros they shave down from the 1979 Destiny Tour, they kept those Jheris into the 84 tour too (I think you may have meant the 81 Triumph Tour).
Just to keep the style going, the silver sequined flare pants from 79 had been kept with one difference, the 81 tour, the flares had been tapered to give a more 80s look.
