jimi hendrix-POWER OF SOUL tribute album

I own most of the Hedrix releases, but I lack this particular item.

Is it any good? How was the Prince song Purple HOuse (inspired by Red House) on this album. The one on Rave un2the Year 2000 kicked arse, but I don't know if the tribute version matches the live version for intensity.

Any clues?

it's pretty good in my view and is pretty much up there with the Stone Free tribute album from the 90s. it contains a couple of recycled tracks from other tribute albums (Sting and something else, can't remember) but that's easily overlooked.

Purple House is cool. not as heavy as the Rave version but ok. The John Lee Hooker version of Red House is better on the same disc.

The version of Power Of Soul By Bootsy and George Clinton is crazy!!!! get it just for that.
