Mariah Carey`s remixes...

It seems like so many love her remixes. I bought her "Remixes" album a while ago, but i didn`t like it that much, although i kinda like the "Heartbreaker" remix that also appeared on the Heartbreaker album. I can think of plenty of artists that i think have better remixes. What do you think? Is she the best when it comes to the mixes? Any M.C reccomandations?

I didn't even bother buying The Remixes. I like most of the harder dance tracks, most by David Morales and reminiscent of the clubs. You gotta buy the singles to get the most out of them. She usually has an R&B mix and a few club mixes, I guess between the two, it depends on which you prefer.

The one thing I'll give Mariah is that she has always put a lot of work into her remixes throughout the years..the david morales remix of 'say something' is phenomenal..i finally found it a couple of weeks ago after searching for it for months lol..but back on topic..the best hip hop remix mariah has ever done is 'I still believe (pure imagination)' remix..pure bliss! And the best dance remix she's ever done is the fantasy def club one (i forget the actual name of it! lol)

I like club remixes, i see there`s a mix of "Don`t forget about us" called "Dance floor anthem" on the cd-single, but i haven`t even heard the original... confused

nod
I'm still trying to get Say Something. My favorite R&B is Always Be My Baby. I have to double check my remixes when I get home. I think I have the Dance Floor Anthem.

Mariah has done well as a singles artist for precisely this reason - she releases quality singles with great remixes. She really gives her fans what they want. The house mix (can't recall the exact name right off the bat) of Fantasy is one of the best house remixes I've ever heard. David Morales really worked that one out! It's like 4 different songs in one.
