Damn. This could prove a bit embarrassing. Let it first be known that I grow very impatient with my iPod and songs typically only stay on it for about a month at a time. That said, the most played song on my iPod is Wrap My Body Tight by Johnny Gill... 4 plays!
woot!

Others in descending order of frequency:
Let's Spend the Night - Johnny Gill
That Girl - Stevie Wonder
I Wish - Stevie Wonder
Dear Yvette - LL Cool J (I've been stuck on the Radio album for a few weeks now)
Sir Duke - Stevie Wonder
Boogie on Reggae Woman - Stevie Wonder
Say Yes - The Whispers
Why You Treat Me So Bad - Club Nouveau
Nasty - Janet Jackson

My iTunes is on my work computer and I don't listen to individual tracks shuffled, just entire albums from start to finish. (I'm a strict-rules-kinda-person like that.) So my top tunes played for the month of January are Goldfrapp's 'Supernature' and Sing-Sing's 'Sing-Sing And I' albums.

Hah! Somebody else just like me. I'm the exact same way. I don't like the energy change of listening to songs on shuffle.

Just four plays, eh.

You must have a Nano or a Shuffle, yeah?

Oh, goodness, this reminds me: I need to re-download Goldfrapp's "Ride A White Horse". I heard that at a club this weekend and I was screaming. lol

No. I've got a mini. I just don't like clutter - be it digital or paper. That's why I didn't bother with the full size iPod. Too many opportunities to let a mess happen.

One month on iPod + no listen = gone!

I'm a jumbled kind of person, so I prefer lots and lots of variety.

I still have the (now-ancient) 20GB and it's currently at capacity. I have to delete songs just to put new ones on every week. So, I'm probably going to upgrade to the new 60 GBs by about spring or summer.

I do that too. nod And I still don't have that Goldfrapp album. pout I have "Ooh La La" (which I just put on my iPod to go running to yay! ) and some song I found called "Slide In (dfa remix)" which is pretty cool. Reminds me of Blondie.

Oh and a few remixes which I don't like because I generally hate most remixes. shrug

edit to say that I'm realizing that as this "Slide In" (12:51 minute version) plays it's awesome! woot!

There's a 60 gb one? that's more like it.

I liked when JANFAN4L made those "what albums have you loaded onto your iPod" threads. haha

I was pleased to learn you had loaded Go-Go's Beauty And the Beat.

The original verison of "Slide In" is on the 'Supernature' CD. I haven't heard the DFA remix yet, but I know they do good work--like their remix of Nine Inch Nails' "The Hand That Feeds" and almost the entire LCD Soundsystem album.
