I can't even believe you started this thread. I was JUST thinking about this last night (and I didn't even watch the Superbowl, as I'm in Holland). I was laying there in bed, during yet another sleepless night, and I started thinking about my penchant for skinny British rock stars from the 60s and 70s and who DIDN'T really appeal to me so much in that category. Anyway, I thought: yeah I never really got into Mick Jagger in that way. I mean, I can see the appeal and I can understand why some women just went nuts over him, but for some reason I don't drool over him.

What sort of pissed me off about the Strolling Bones playing the halftime show in Detroit was the fact that the NFL completely overlooked the entire musical history of that city when they booked the show. They could have and should have made it a tribute to Motown's greatest artists, especially since they had so many amazing Motown artists to choose from, not to mention that they could have also booked KISS, Madonna and Eminem.
