lol Wishful thinking on the part of some fan(s)!? A Jacksons reunion album and/or tour has been promised for years, nothing's ever come of it. Not to mention, Jacko's situation has deteriorated to the point that he can't get a charity single out...yet I'm supposed to believe an album is imminent?

It's been five months since he announced he would put out a Katrina benefit single...what could be holding it up this long?

P.S. Where is this news on that site? I couldn't find it.

"I Have This Dream" is out mid-late February according to Raymone Bain, so I am thinking either the 14th or 21st. The delay on the single release has nothing to do with Michael, it was the other artists participating. He had a lot of problems with artist. I heard he nearly had the single read for release in October but an artist pulled out so he had to find someone else to take their place, and because finding someone else took so long, many other artist pulled out and he basically had to start from scratch in December 2005. I don't know the full details of the events leading up to December, but I know that he had to start from scratch.

Where did you get all this information? www.mjnewsonline.com seems quite reliable about getting Bain's announcments posted; the last one about this song was on Jan. 10. I've seen no announcement of a firm release date.

Also, none of the Bain statements have alluded to the difficulties you listed. But maybe that's what was REALLY gone on when Jacko had to "rewrite the song" more than once? hmmm

idea Well, if I'm to believe DarlingDiana, it sounds like folks don't want to be involved with it, so maybe it does! wink

A new funky record from all the brohters is the only thing that would interest me right now concerning Michael...however I don't believe it will ever happen

I remember that, (Or something close to it..) HIStory Magazine (A Jackson fan magazine around the HIStory album era) reported that the "new" Jacksons album was going to be called "Humanity" and the date was set for a release. Ofcourse years came and went and the project never arrived.

I believe this is latest "fan report" is just nothing more than rumors, but it sure is exciting none the less. And I bet none of the brothers will be left out. I mean they billed themselves as "The Jackson 5" at Motown25 and at Michael's 30th anniversary show, and there were 6 of them, right? hmmm

It was billed as "The Jackson 5." But, i read in a Jackson family book, the one bye Katherine (forget the name; Family Values maybe). Anyway, she says Randy was not supposed to be part of the J5 reunion, as he was not part of the J5.

Techinally she would be right, he was only a part of the Epic group, "The Jacksons."
