But where are the Beasties?

I forgot all about the Beastie Boys

Licensed To Ill is classic

"Posse In Effect" cool

It is classic. And I'm a huge fan of them. But honestly, it's probably my least favorite Beastie Boys album. But I suppose "Paul's Boutique" would be considered "middle school" right?

I always had respect for Heavy D.

Big Tyme is one of my all-time favorite albums. Brings back some of my fondest junior-high memories. nod The Heavster was like a bigger, sweeter, rappin' Morris Day back then.

We coulda maybe been friends in junior high. I recorded that from the radio onto tape back then. smile Love that!

my sister had all of those albums
I never got my hands on Paul's Boutique
as a child... I do have it now though
I guess I will have to give it a spin one day
the only annoying part is that it's
an "albumwrap" and I can't advance as I need to
but I hear so much about this album
so I may not even need to skip

Licensed To Ill was the only Beastie's tape
I remember playing & liking
"Paul Revere" set sooooo many trends
I remember writing one of my first rhymes
to "The New Style" biggrin

and speaking of SNP
A Salt With A Deadly Pepa
is my fav album of theirs

Quality, quality, quality. Roxanne, Roxanne get the recognition, but Beats & Rhymes was the best cut by far

Whodini too, Magic's Wand is a stone cold classic!

What about Digital Underground??? True hip-hop surrounded by danceable FUNK beats. If you say Tupac(which is questionable), then you HAVE TO say DU. They are styill rockin live these days.
