I love that one, which I never hated it, but it just never really stood out as a decent song, until I was driving one day. I always re-discover songs when I'm driving.....it's really one of the best times to listen to music. I'm sticking by my guns with Ireland though.....I still don't like it.....and probably never will.
I looooove "Ireland"! I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

I also hated "Martha's Foolish Ginger" until I saw it live at the SF show and found out its rhythm was inspired by sounds at the Bay Bridge. I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

She also played Marianne at that show, which was not one of my faves until later listening to it more carefully. Now I LOVE IT!!! I always wondered if she played it because of the suicide reference, being that the Golden Gate Bridge is suicide central and all the controversy around it lately. Maybe her set list for that show had a bridge theme.

It's like there she is, my role model, all spelled out for me in detail. I think about it all the time and it inspires and empowers me to succeed as an artist, and to be a sincere person who thinks really deep thoughts. I wish Tori was my friend. I would constantly be going to her for career advice. She's got it all together. How she manages to be so strong and balanced in both her business self and artist self, is beyond me. She does things her own way, moves through crises, and always seems to land on her feet. Plus, she's totally original.

Half the org would disagree, but I wouldn't.
