down near the bottom in 7nth post in that thread there's a link to a live mp3 of Meshell doing her thing from a ways back...

compare this version to the version that was released on her beautiful album 'Bitter'...and you'll see why i'm such a fan. Same great tune in both cases, yet whenever she plays her stuff live she always tries to approach it with very different vibe...shes not afraid to take chances, more often than not with stunning results...and with a killer band rolling with her its just hard to beat...

but enough of me blabbing...go get it and listen for yourself, but post back what you think...

but I do find that site to be very confusing and nit user-friendly.....
