Which Hair Metal Duet Was More Painful?

CLOSE MY EYES FOREVER Lita Ford with Ozzy Osbourne

OR

EVERYTHING YOU DO (You're Sexing Me!) Fiona with Kip Winger?

there's gonna be a lot of comedians in this thread talkin down on her music, but i say compared to today's watered down, image enhanced, shrink wrapped, atkins dieted crap i love "close my eyes forever". the thing that was so cool about lita is that she was rock n roll 2 the bone and i could always feel that in her music....

I never heard the Kip Winger duet (don't want to) but really like her duet with Ozzy and am surprised it never appears on any of his collections...It's not like he has a wealth of hit songs.

"Close My Eyes Forever", hands down.

“Close My Eyes Forever” was in heavy rotation when I was in 9th grade. My friend and I thought we were hilarious as we changed the lyric to “If I close my thighs forever.” We were particularly impressed with ourselves for the line “If I could have just one more wish
I'd wipe the cobwebs from my thighs.” Ozzy was set to headline a concert during the fall of ’88 (in Mpls). Lita Ford was billed as the “Guest.” At the last minute, Lita pulled a no-show and my friend and I, in unison, claimed, “Her thighs must be too webby.”

Ah, how I long for the days when I could entertain myself.

"Close My Eyes Forever" by default.

"Everything You Do (You're Sexing Me)" was not a Lita Ford/Winger duet. Kip Winger sang it with some chick named Fiona.

I love Close My Eyes Forever in the cheesiest way possible. Kip Winger, on the other hand, is the runniest, most processed cheese spread imaginable. Not very enjoyable. You're Sexing Me is the more painful option for me.

lol In eighth grade, I had the meanest algebra teacher in the world, and I also had her for homeroom and our study hall... Mrs. Bennett. She kept food in the closet that's supposed to hold her school supplies, but it was stocked like a fridge! She even kept a cooler in there, and kept it under lock and key. I'm tellin' ya, she had anything you could ever want to eat in there, and she'd even eat while she was teaching.

I was on her "Delinquet List" at the very top, so I spent the whole year writing parodies about her and I used to sing them to all of the kids in the class at lunch time.

One of the favorites was to the tune of Janet's "Black Cat" and I called it "Real Fat". Here's the chorus:

Real fat lady, keepin' it shady
Out of her way,
She's gotta eat her pie.
Heartbeat, real strong,
But not for long.
Clogged arteries,
Her cho-lest-rol's high!
'Cause your friends don't dance, and if they don't dance... well, they're no friends of mine.
