YES...I buy her albums and enjoy them a lot!

She may be nut, but she more talented than some hip-hop/rap artist some of U adore!

people seem to take pleasure in giving bjork shit because her art is so bizarre and different and "out there". i think it's because bjork is so together mentally that she's able to come up with the crazy stuff she does - it all has meaning, you just have to open your mind to it and try to experience it the way she intended. read an interview or two where she talks about her work - even the most insane parts of her work have completely rational meaning. thing is, she's an ARTIST. she interprets her experiences in ways she hopes are unique. that's what a lot of artists like to do, you see.

i think people dismiss her as a nutjob because they're too lazy to try to understand what it is she does...and really, that's not on her.

i recently read someone talking about people who are different, and they were alluding to an experiment where a monkey was dyed green with food coloring and then put in a pen with a bunch of other monkeys. the other monkeys ripped the green monkey apart. why? because it was different.

i guess we all need our green monkeys to make us feel better about ourselves.
