I've already stated a few times in different threads that Gene Tierney is the most beautiful woman in film. love

Beautiful indeed.

However, in her younger days...

...Lauren Bacall could've given her a run for her money. wink

...especially the part where Gertie meets E.T., this soundtrack is perfect.

Good choices both.

I'd also include the soundtracks to Close Encounters of The 3rd Kind, the unbelievably perfect 'Aliens' (so good that pretty much every action flick since has utilised it in their teaser trailers), Good Will Hunting, Xanadu (I don't care - kill me), 'Stand By Me', 'Twin Peaks - Fire Walk With Me' (Angelo Badalamenti's TV series soundtrack was great too), and last but by no means least - Peter Gabriel's 'The Passion' (OST for 'The Last Temptation of Christ') which is nothing short of stunning.

That documentary hipped me into some DEEP shit :nod

Another epic legendary,,,,

From the MUSIC SELECTIONS to the MUSIC SCORE, this is the ULTIMATE that combined the 2 toghether and made them directly relevant to the audience as opposed to be just a "background music". Music was another powerful member of the cast.

For me it would be a tie between..
Prince & Danny Elfman's scores for "Batman." cool

Another great one would be the theme from the Scream movies. It was very chilling! biggrin

I've been a fan of MOVIE SCORES for some time now.

I've listened to quite a number of some really good music. But one of my fav score come from the movie 'The Prince Of Egypt'- I'm talking about the non commercial songs.

'Deliver Us' and 'The Red Sea' deliver some of the most touching arrangements I've EVER heard.

Hans Zimmer really did a good job on this one.
I highly recommend this one. Give it a try.
I'm not mad at you, I'm mad at the dirt.

Ottensen

On a minimalist level; I REALLY REALLY appreciate the Marcus Miller-Miles Davis collab for the indie movie "SIESTA". The theme song is the strongest.

On a cornier and more romantic adore the "Blade Runner's Theme" to Blade Runner. You can be lonely, be estatic, take a bath, read a book, make a cake make passioate love, or even make a baby to that s+++t, LOL biggrin biggrin biggrin !
