Air Supply.
Yep. It's pretty hard for them to rock.

Grew up on Metallica. And my favorite Metallica isn't "early Metallica", either. I flat out LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Load. I know that this won't earn me any "cool" points here on the org, but Load brought me into the fold. I really dig the blues-boogie vibe they went for on that disc.

They are my first choice, but, and I think I can speak for The Audience on this one, we didn't list Hendrix because Hendrix was sooooo much more than hard rock. My reasons with Funkadelic was I didn't want to open up a whole can of worms about Funkadelic NOT being a rock band and all of that shit. Again, kudos to those who listed them. Well take out some of the latter day Funkadelic (the dance stuff) and they are absolutely a hard rock band. The can has been opened B. I shouldn've mentioned Hendrix and The Who but I agree with BlackG's comment that they were so much more than a hard rock thing. I can dig it, B! As far as lists go, I despise them. Usually, I feel obligated to list a few folks, but, I ALWAYS end up forgeting folks that I adore, which makes no sense. Like I NEED to add The Scorpions. Their 70's and 80's stuff is slammin' and two of their guitarists from those era's; Uli and Mathias are influences of mine. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

I already listed The Scorpions and forgot that I had done so....damn. I hate lists. SynthiaRose said "I'm in love with blackguitaristz. Especially when he talks about Hendrix."

I like most of the stuff that has been listed, but my favorite has to be Aerosmith( and I'm not talking about the late 80's early 90's MTV pop band)
Give me that 70's shit, especially Rocks They still put on a great show as well
