This Woman's Work

A new friend just sent me the maxwell version of this song. It made me cry. what is the song about? I have been and got the kate bush original version. I think i prefer the maxwell rendition though (i think this is coz its the one i heard first)

a beautiful song. right, im off to play this on my piano!

Okay, it must just be a block then. I still have it with "The Dreaming", like I did with "Choirgirl" until you showed me the light.

Maybe it'll just take time or maybe it just isn't your bag.

i'll try again in a month or so. i very often don't connect
to songs until i hear them much later. some of my fav bands
were bands i hated with a passion before i finally saw the
light. like Radiohead. couldn't stand them and now they're
my fav band of all time.

Yeah, I totally get that.

I was resistant to all my favorite alterna-females when they first came out - Bjork, Tori, PJ, but they're all top 10 now.

Toxic was 2 be a Kylie track. But she refused it after listening 2 the demo that Cathy Dennis (the writer of the track) submited.
