The new single is called 'Shoot The Dog'

'First play of the single is likely to be the 2nd of July, with a release approx one month later. Though an exact date is to be confirmed'


There was no mention if this is a a british or european release and they just say it is an uptempo song. I'll guess we'll have to wait and see. I hope its better than 'Freeek'.

I'm thrilled to see GM still making records and still looking like a hot ass. A lot of people thought GM was done for after the restroom incident.

His version of Stevie Wonder's "As" with Mary J. Blidge is one of my favorite songs...

I can't wait for his next album cos i thought Freeek was so good and I hadn't heard anything like it before Has anyone ever seen him live ? I havent't seen a whole concert of his yet

I've been a George fan for a while but his main problem is he's not very prolific. As opposed to Prince.

I mean really, his solo career has been Faith, LWP, and Older (plus a lot of singles releases like I Knew You Were Waiting For Me, Too Funky, Outside, etc.) over about 15-16 years. SFTLC doesn't really count

At least his albums are fairly consistent in their appeal.

He's had some great moments including:

They Won't Go When I Go (cover)
Freedom '90
The whole Faith album
Jesus To A Child

Here's hoping for another consistent album!

I saw a quick 5 second clip on MTV.
According to that quick clip, the video is a cartoon.
The part MTV showed was of George Michael dancing around the oval office with George Bush and some other guy!
