"The New York Post"

January 26, 2006 -- Michael Jackson soared to new heights of weirdness, if that's possible, parading around the streets of Bahrain yesterday dressed as an Arab woman.

But the ultra-bizarre disguise didn't fool locals, who began pointing and gawking at the kooky King of Pop, shouting "Michael! Michael!"

"Please, no!" Michael Jackson squealed in a high-pitched whine as he fled in panic.

The 47-year-old outcast, who's living in the island nation as a guest of the royal family since being acquitted of child molestation, was attempting to shop with his kids in the capital city of Manama without being noticed.

So he dressed up in a long black robe called an abaya, pulled on black gloves and wrapped a veil over his face — exactly what traditional Arab females wear every day. But the Gloved One made two big mistakes — his robe wasn't long enough to cover his trademark black loafers and white socks and the designer sunglasses were a dead giveaway.

Compounding those er rors, Jackson used his credit card in an electronic store and somebody saw his name.

Pandemonium broke out.

Click to learn more...

A photographer began snapping Jackson and his veil-wearing kids — Prince Michael I, 8, Paris Michael Katherine, 7, and Prince Michael II, 3. More lensmen joined in.

Shoppers recognized the entourage and shouted to them in delight. Jackson and company tore through the rear exit of the mall.

As they fled, the youngsters' nanny, in an abaya, jeans and veil, attempted to ward off the crowds.

"You have to give us some privacy!" she begged. "Please, you have to understand his position, he is with his kids — you need to leave us alone."

Jackson ushered his children into a sleek white Lexus Infinity with tinted windows and quickly zoomed off.

Michael getting weirder? Not necessarily. The only reason why Mike seems weird is because his fans won't accept the following premise: Michael is gay. This is a no brainer. But you'd be surprised how many people refuse to admit it. They'll call him asexual, non-sexual, unsexual -- anything but gay sexual. He's a homosexual who grew up in a very strict religious household. So it was seared into his subconsciousness that homosexuality was anathema -- perhaps even the unpardonable sin. Consequently, he perpetuates this facade that he's straight. Mike only appears weird if you buy into his "straighteness." But if you view him as a gay man with identity issues, his "craziness" makes sense.Let me stress that his homosexuality isn't the problem, it's the denial. His refusal to accept himself for who and what he is that's causing him all this adversity. Michael is better off in Bahrain. Let him live as a woman...maybe that's the only way he'll feel at peace with himself.

If he is gay, why should he live as a woman?

Michael could have a starring role on Queer Eye for all I care. He may or may not be homosexual, I don't spend alot of time worrying about that (which has nothing to do with being a transvestite by the way).

Any way you want to dress it up, a six foot black man dressing up in Arab female garb and walking around the middle east with his kids in veils in an effort not to be noticed is, how can I best say it, a tad odd.

BTW, if Mike is gay, than Prince must be too because of some of the clothes he wore in the past. BTW guys, do you think David Bowie is gay? His clothes hasn´t always looked 100% male.

If clothing was the only reason people thought MJ was gay, then maybe we'd think the same about Prince. However, with Mike, it's just the tip of the iceburg. No one is condemning Jacko, either. If he is gay, it's just sad that he's never been able to fully accept it. Repressing that side of himself would explain so many of the eccentricities that he's presented the world with over the past 20 years.

David Bowie is bisexual.

Also, with Prince and Bowie, the femininity was always obviously more of an outrageous gimmick or form of artistic expression than anything. With MJ, on the other hand, it just comes across as natural flagrance.

And yes, I KNOW LMP said they fucked and I KNOW a mountain of heterosexual porn was uncovered at Neverland lol , but never say never. I'm not sure myself why so many rabid MJ fans are so desperate to prove beyond reasonable doubt that the guy is a ladykilling studmuffin. Do they think being gay is some kind of insult? Do the fangirls, in particular, want him for themselves to swoon over THAT badly?

right, for everyone else it´s art for MJ it´s proof of his homosexuality.

As for the fans desperation to prove something - and why do the "non-MJ-fans" care that much? They are also trying hard to prove their points spending times on net discussing it.

and last thing. What makes this MJ outfit feminine? I see him wearing black pants, white T-shirt and some black unidentified cloth over it. He´sn ot wearing skirt or anything. Besides if you haven´t noticed, in Bachrain most local men are wearing that type of thing so maybe he´s just adjusting to that fashion. You know, when a man puts on a skirt in Scotland, over there, it´s not considered gay or feminine. I don´t know if it´s that thing over his face that reminds you of what arab women are wearing that it´s women´s cloth, but with MJ´s surgical masks I am not suprised at this outfit. Again he´s hiding himself - not for the sake of not being recognised - cause everyone knows it´s him, but for the sake of not being seen.

That's because in Sctoland, it's traditional dress and is called a KILT, not a skirt, as they are two completely different things. If you described it as such to a Scotsman, you'd quite likely get decked. Secondly, Michael is shown wearing an Abaya - traditional Arab dress for women. Not men, WOMEN.

Any questions? Good - just sayin' wink

You're either missing the point or trying to be funny. Cool. But the point I was making is that Mike is in denial about his sexuality. Due to his upbringing and societal ignorance, he's been suppressing his true identity for years. But you are what you are. Denying it wont' change a thing. Oftentimes, rather, it results in seemingly crazy behavior. Many of his fans, like Michael himself, refuse to acknowledge it as well.To those who say Prince is gay, I doubt it. But never would I argue that it's beyond the realm of possibility like many JACKOPATHS do with MJ. I too think MJ's children are going to be basket cases by the time they reach their teens. But don't get me started on that...

Amen.

I totally agree, and his fans should learn there's nothing wrong with being gay. It doesn't take away from his talent so what's the problem?

He's not a homosexual. He's a pedophile. There's a difference. Homos like other adults. He doesn't like adults man or woman.
