I think the bigger question is....why do some people remain "fans" of an artist if all they're gonna do is criticize them? There are some people here who claim to be "fans" of certain artists,but all they do is bitch and complain about their new music,their tours,etc.If an artist no longer makes the type of music you want them to,get rid of their CD and move on! Stop clicking on the threads devoted to that artist if all you're gonna do is bitch,whine and complain.Find a "replacement" artist to listen to instead.If I were a recording artist,I would tell all the whiny,intolerable fans to kiss my ass

It's just another way of venting their jealousy when one artist is doing well and their favorite artist is living low.

art is a commodity, its created to be scrutinized and judged. the artist creates a product that is personal to each and every one individiual. the reaction is unique because of each individual's perspective. one person should never feel threatened by another's critique, period.

others may pre-screen an album or listen to gossip but not all..i'd much rather experience and judge the art on my own...thats me...it doesnt have to be you. doesnt have to be that way with everyone else...thats just me.
