I'm planning to buy but I heard it's protected so does that mean I can't import it onto my iPod?

I've had no problem importing protected CDs to my iPod. A better idea may be to see if iTunes has the album and just importing from their site.

I bought an album from the same lable as "Hero" and it, too, was protected. But I'm listening to it on my iPod right now!
