little white girl calls Mary J Blige a bitch!!! I don't know what's worse.
Mary's security team trying to get verbally tough with a LITTLE GIRL, or Mary getting bent out of shape because a FAN, the people she depends on to eat that she snubbed, got bent out of shape. Celebrity and fame only lasts if you're talented and GOOD to your fan base. Her CORRECT course of action would have been to go out and apologize to the little girl, sign a lotta shit, take some publicity pics and walked away smiling. This is really stupid. They weren't trying to get tough w/ her, they were informing her why she wasn't getting an autograph, which they didn't even have to do considering they way the kid acted. I swear the kids actions remind me of adults who never learned that celebrities weren't put on this earth just to please their every whim, acting like muthafuckas owe them something. A KID having the nerve to do that shit, can you imagine?
& I really wonder who was taping this. Obviously it's someone in their camp given their access (?) but to release this bullshit & put the "love & life" @ the end is just trying to paint Mary in a bad light. The chick is finally getting herself in order & muthafuckas are trying to tear her down b/c of a rude fan. PLEEZE... I'm sure she wouldn't want the things she said about choking the girl  & slapping the girl  made public BUT those are things you say in private, which is why I think it's tacky as fuck to have released this video. But nobody gives a shit about that - Mary can't be human. She's a celebrity & apparently her life belongs to all of us at all times... What a load of shit 
If celebrities stopped to sign every autograph & take every picture they'd NEVER get anything done. I know they've become what they are in part b/c of their audience/fans but @ some point the shit has to stop. Sometimes you have to be about YOU, you gotta be selfish. How the hell do you think they've acheived the level of fame they have in the first place? Fuck that, BE selfish, keep your sanity, do the fan shit when you can & when you ain't feelin' it just do your thing. They're only human, my God... I think Mary J did the right thing by letting the security team go out there and handle that little girl. Knowing Mary's rep, that little girl probably would have gotten a good ass chewing by Mary if she went out there. I understand that a moment of a celeb's time is a lifetime memory for a fan, but there's a way to approcah a celeb. The way that little girl did it was not the way. | |
