they practiced for the ACTUNG BABY tour in my hometown for a week ... i went over and listened to them almost every night .... at the end of the week they had a concert ... which was great ...
i was not a big U2 fan before or after that concert ... but i got some of the old albums ... to me--- all the old albums seemed flawed - until ACTUNG BABY .... i still love "ONE" .... as their best song ... 
the album after ACTUNG BABY .... that was another "flawed" one by my standards - and i never bought another U2 album   | |

i bought the JOSHUA TREE ... in great anticipation ...i loved hearing "bullett the blue sky " --- LIVE .... but ... i was truly not into that album in the least after purchasing it ... i maybe listened to it 3-5 X and that is it !~
