Miles Davis at Birdland I'm referring specifically about the incident in which he was assaulted by a police officer. I've heard rumors that he (Davis) was somehow involved in the officer's eventual murder on a subway.
In one of Miles' biographies, it simply states something about Davis "hinting toward melevolence" but nothing more. Does anyone know the full story?

i don't know anything about that really. but it seems like an ott thought
to link Miles to a death at a later date because of a previous assault on him by the police officer. if he assaulted Davis, he probably assaulted more people so it could've been any one of them. and true love lives on lollipops and crisps

Yeah, you might be right. I probably wouldn't have even pondered it for a second but it's one of those things that I sorta remember hearing but don't know where. Then, like I said, when I looked into his bio Milestones, the author made a few vague innuendos about Miles' involvement.
