I can see why Madonna rarely puts out B-sides

...I have a compilation I got off eBay or some shit and many of the tracks are AWFUL. I mean it's nice to hear Madonna's vocals ANYTIME but many of her outtakes from the albums are really subpar, much unlike Prince or Tori.

I especially can't stand the original version of "Subsitute for Love" and the other Ray of Light B-sides like "Has to Be," and especially "Revenge."

I also haven't been crazy about "SuperPop" or "Fighting Spirit." And "Your Honesty" wasn't anything special either. I'm glad she keeps her vault locked.
I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

I would agree with you except for two outstanding tracks:

"Has To Be" (nod actually really awesome)
"Let Down Your Guard" (funky Secret b-side)

Sure, some are stupid like "Ain't No Big Deal" and "Cyberraga", but I like most of her non-album stuff lots.

I think the quality of her b-sides / unreleased stuff is no better or worse than most artists.

Aint No Big Deal is actually a decent song in its original form, the production on the released version lets it down though.

Supernatural is probably her strongest B-Side. Could easily have been considered to go on Like A Prayer.

Goodbye To Innocence is not so strong but still has some cool elements to it.

Let Down Your Guard is a great track, a bit like TLC circa "Fanmail".

Freedom is boring. I like the funky guitar and choir idea but the song aint strong enough to do it justice.

Love Wont Wait is perhaps the most poppy thing she recorded in the 90's. I still cant believe she never released this track. Her vocals are spot on, despite it only being a demo, but the production is BAD.

Your Honsety is ok. It as strong as some of the other album tracks on Bedtime Stories, and i quite like the groove of it. Having read abuot the song for years, i thought it would suck due to its title, but its a lot better than i thought.

Revenge is pretty poor. Reminds me of all that Robert Miles-esque euro dance from the mid 90's. Same goes for Gone Gone Gone, but i think that is slightly better.

Like A Flower should easily have been on ROL. The only reason i can assume it wasnt was because there are already enough ballads on there. If it had gone on it would've been better than at least half the other songs on there.

Has To Be is good too, but i like it less than Like A Flower, too trippy. Sounds like a musical idea dragged out a bit.

Cyber-raga is ok, but pretty forgettable. I've not been drawn to listen to it for years.

Superpop is a cool little song. She was right ot leave it off Confesisons, but i enjoy it a lot, and Fighting Spirit is definitely growing on me.

"Like A Flower" is a beautiful song, but I think it was left off the 'Ray Of Light' album because it sounds too similiar to "The Power Of Good-Bye".It sounds like a slower version of that song.

I haven't heard some of those other songs you listed.I seriously need a CD containing all these tracks!
