Miles Davis at Birdland

I'm referring specifically about the incident in which he was assaulted by a police officer. I've heard rumors that he (Davis) was somehow involved in the officer's eventual murder on a subway.

In one of Miles' biographies, it simply states something about Davis "hinting toward melevolence" but nothing more.

Does anyone know the full story?

i don't know anything about that really. but it seems like an ott thought
to link Miles to a death at a later date because of a previous assault on
him by the police officer.

if he assaulted Davis, he probably assaulted more people so it could've
been any one of them.

Yeah, you might be right. I probably wouldn't have even pondered it for a second but it's one of those things that I sorta remember hearing but don't know where. Then, like I said, when I looked into his bio Milestones, the author made a few vague innuendos about Miles' involvement.
