"after the love is gone".... the best earth wind & fire ballad chicago didn't do did anyone ever think that "earth wind & fire's" "after the love is gone" was like a lost "chicago" tune?can't you just picture terry kath on the lead as peter cetera comes in on the bassline and falsetto vocals? and what about bobby lamm on that opening piano and the undercurrent durin the horn section? | |

It's ironic that you mention that! When they toured together over the last 2 years(captured on the recent 2DVD set) Bill Champlin would come out during Earth Wind and Fire's set and sing "After The Love Is Gone"! Then Philip Bailey would come out during Chicago's set and Sing. "If You Leave Me Now". later both groups would perform together for the encores... ...
