I'm listening to this for the first time in ages all the way through, and DAMN what a big, bombastic, kitschy, dirty, funky album this is. God, I love Trevor Horn's tacky self and the way he produced pop albums as BIG BLOCKBUSTER EVENTS.

"War" and "Born To Run" are such great covers, and we all know about "Relax" and "Two Tribes". They even have "Do You Know The Way To San Jose" going on here.

Any fans of this here? Anyone owned a "Frankie Say" shirt back in the day? Fess up!

i have the greatest hits, pleasuredome, and absolutely adored the episode of VH-1 's Reunion they did

I like Trevor Horn, but this album sounds like one big "Relax" mega-mix. "Awesome!" you might be thinking. But I thought it got repetitive.

I'd say the cover of Born To Run is one of the album's very few low points (along with Wish The Lads Were Here) - but then again, I'm a huge Brooooce fan, so I'm always going to have a problem with people coverung his classic songs.

Yes I'm a fan. Saw 'em a couple of times live - Leicester in 1985 and Wembley Arena in 1987. Never owned a Frankie Say T-Shirt though. Should've bought one though.

I use to know the guys very well back in the late 80's. been to quite a lot of places with them, etc. right up until the split. And the guys where being nice about the split on vh1, it ended worser than that!

Huge fan of the Frankies and this album in particular. I just bought their DVD with all of their videos on it, as a matter of fact.

"Krisco Kisses" is probably my favorite song on the disc...although "The Power of Love" is still a great slow dance song...

Great Album!!!! And.. I even think Born to run sounds better then the original!!

At the time i bought every 12" from this album coz they were so great! But every song had like 3 different 12"'s so i got me broke (I was only 13 )

But.. still enjoying them!

I remember, years ago, my sister having a 'Frankie...' poster on her wall.

I shouldn't say this - and I wouldn't do it now, I was very young - but I read her diary and it contained all this stuff about how Paul was lovingly gazing at her from the wall and that he WOULD be her's.

Shame he was gay.
