Lots Of Stuff

Haven't been online for a week or so cause my comp got infected by trojans and spyware en masse thanks to F-Secure shutting itself down without a warning. Had to reinstall Windows and lost everything on my hard drive in the process. That includes about 20gbs worth of music/music videos/tour footage. There go my P bootlegs sad . Ah well, good thing I got some of that stuff on CDs. And now on to other things:

1) Some CDs I just recently bought:

Roger - The Many Facets Of Roger
Tower Of Power - Tower Of Power
Earth, Wind & Fire - Earth, Wind & Fire
Earth, Wind & Fire - That's The Way Of The World: Alive In '75
Stevie Wonder - Music Of My Mind
Stevie Wonder - Hotter Than July
Stevie Wonder - In Square Circle
Isaac Hayes - Black Moses
Isaac Hayes - Shaft Soundtrack (gotta have this one lol )
The Jacksons - Victory (American import)
Instant Funk - The Funk Is On
Terence Trent D'Arby - TTD's Vibrator
Graham Central Station - Release Yourself
Miles Davis - Doo-bop
Kate Bush - The Red Shoes
Prince - Diamonds And Pearls (I already have this album but I found a used one for a cheap price that had the hologram cover so I had to buy it biggrin )

Anyways, I was positively surprised at how good the Roger album was. Do It, Roger and So Ruff, So Tuff are top-notch. Tower Of Power was also a really good album. Instant Funk was, in my opinion, a bit mediocre. I bought The Red Shoes cause I got it for like 9 euros cause you people always praise her like there's no tomorrow. Haven't had a chance to listen to it yet. I'm afraid it'll be far too uhm... "weird" for my taste.

2) Tracks I'm diggin' at the moment

Roger - I Wanna Be Your Man. An awesome track to say the least
Con Funk Shun - Love's Train. Greeeeaaaaat! You don't need no, you don't need no ticket to ride
Earth, Wind & Fire - Reasons. The live version on Alive In '75 blows my mind. I now have a whole new appreciation for this track
Cameo - We're Goin' Out Tonight. The falsettos in the end. Nuff said

I've now listened to The Red Shoes. It's not bad, and not as "weird" as I thought it might be. My favs are prolly Rubberband Girl and Why Should I Love You?
