I had the luck to see Billy Preston live together with the Funk Brothers two year ago in Hamburg, Germany.

May he recover soon.

wish him well...hopefully he can leave them drugs and underage boys alone too

BOBBY BROWN: LOOKING BACK

UNDATED (AP) _ On this date in 1995, Bobby Brown was cited for allegedly kicking a hotel security guard in suburban Los Angeles. Brown later entered a no contest plea to a misdemeanor assault charge. The judge gave Brown two years summary probation, more than $1,000 in fines and ordered him to attend anger management counseling.



BILLY PRESTON: LOOKING BACK

UNDATED (AP) _ On this date in 1991, singer and keyboardist Billy Preston was arrested in Malibu, California, after a 16-year-old boy reported that he was sexually attacked and shown obscene pictures. Preston was charged with exhibiting pornography, annoying a child and possessing cocaine. A year later, he entered no-contest pleas to the cocaine and assault charges. He was sentenced to nine months at a drug rehabilitation center and three months of house arrest.
