3. 2Pac Rap Phenom II
4. Run DMC Raising Hell
5. Pharcyde Bizarre Ride II
6. LL Cool J Mama Said Knock Out
7. EPMD Unfinished Business
8. Beastie Boys Paul's Boutique
9. ATCQ Low End Theory (yeah!)
10.De La Soul Buhloone Mindstate
11.D.O.C. No One Can Do It Better (Go on Badu baby daddy)
12.Genius/GZA Liquid Swords
13.Eric B and Rakim Follow the Leader
14.Ghostface Killah Supreme Clientele
15.Geto Boys The Resurrection
16.Wyclef The Carnival
17.Ice Cube AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted
18.Scarface Mr. Scarface is Back
19.Jay Z Reasonable Doubt
20.Nas Stillmatic (Not Illmatic???)
21.OutKast Aquemini (gives credit to Erykah's influence biggrin )
22.Public Enemy It Takes a Nation...
23.Lauryn Hill Miseducation
24.DJ Quik Way 2 Fonky
25.Dizzee Rascal Boy in Da Corner

Do we agree? My thoughts...

1. Where's Biggie? WTF
2. Common's Like Water For Chocolate is missing
3. About "Miseducation of Lauryn Hill" he says it was the first time America heard a "heterosexual female rapper since Salt n Pepa"...so Queen Latifah, Missy, Left Eye, Brat, Kim, and Foxy are all lesbians??
4. I know I'm gonna take heat but I would have included Digable Planets.
5. No Eminem?
I'll leave it alone babe...just be me

It's just his fucking opionion like we have ours. Besides, he's a fucking comedian, not a musical journalist. It has no relevance. biggrin

And your right, Biggie should be on that list.

I think Andy could get signed in real life. Plus he's cute and white. He'd be the first cute White guy rapper who wasn't tryin to be hard and thus could be lighthearted and not hafta get in battles and have beefs with puppets and pop singers.

Is this list in order? Is straight out of compton really his number one pick or is this just a list in no particular order?

I think Biggie got replaced with Scarface's Mr. Scarface Is Back (1991), because peep this...

ChrisRock said:

Everything Biggie did, everything Pac did, everything Jay-Z does was originally done on the first Scarface album. Biggie kills himself at the end of his first record; well, Scarface did it three years earlier. He was the first guy to do rhymes in the first person about robbing people and drug-dealing; he was the first guy to really talk about being depressed and being institutionalized, and how his mama is scared of him. He is the most underrated rapper of all time and absolutely in the top three. You cannot get to four without mentioning Scarface. Any rapper knows that.

Not really. Straight Outta Compton is sorta like a pop-rap record by today's standards. Dr. Dre's production still sounds pristine!

Face's stuff is classic. I don't trust people who claim to love hip hop and don't like Scarface. Baduism - DP's always hit ya with a nickel bag, and gets plenty of love in my house.
Keep your headphones on.

1. NWA Straight Outta Compton -- Greatest album of all time? I think not. Classic tho it may be, The rest of the stuff on this list shits all over it.
2. Snoop Doggystyle -- The only snoop album anyone really needs to own, and one should be in every household.
3. 2Pac Rap Phenom II -- Fine mix tape, but it's no Me Against The World, baby.
4. Run DMC Raising Hell -- Alright, fine, I'll give you that one.
5. Pharcyde Bizarre Ride II -- CLASSIC.
6. LL Cool J Mama Said Knock Out -- I think this is supposed to read "walking with a panther" ... side note, if I meet one more fucking white person (and i'm white) who says "goin back to cali" is LL's greatest song, I'm a start killin' mufuckers myself! Complete garbage, it isn't even rap.
7. EPMD Unfinished Business -- It's no paid in full, but ok.
8. Beastie Boys Paul's Boutique -- CLASSIC!!!!!111ONEONEELEVEN
9. ATCQ Low End Theory (yeah!) - indeed.
10.De La Soul Buhloone Mindstate -- I would have chosen "...is Dead"
11.D.O.C. No One Can Do It Better -- word.
12.Genius/GZA Liquid Swords -- of course.
13.Eric B and Rakim Follow the Leader -- yep.
14.Ghostface Killah Supreme Clientele -- i ain't heard this one. yet.
15.Geto Boys The Resurrection -- ok, ok, "Yes Yes Yall" is indeed a bomb track, specially with that piano. But nah, I'm a go with "We Can't Be Stopped" or even "Grip it on that other level"
16.Wyclef The Carnival -- No, no no.
17.Ice Cube AmeriKKKa's Most Wanted -- Yep.
18.Scarface Mr. Scarface is Back -- any scarface would have worked, yes.
19.Jay Z Reasonable Doubt -- fuck jay-z, sorry.
20.Nas Stillmatic (Not Illmatic???)
21.OutKast Aquemini (gives credit to Erykah's influence biggrin ) ATLiens!! ATLiens!
22.Public Enemy It Takes a Nation... yep.
23.Lauryn Hill Miseducation, um, no. fuck that.
24.DJ Quik Way 2 Fonky. I wouldn't put it on this list, but it's still fun to riff "nameisdjquik. so fuck. the rest." woooord.
25.Dizzee Rascal Boy in Da Corner -- Uh yeh ok. Pass the blunt, Chris. No Really.
Keep your headphones on.

He could've put that a couple of notches higher! nod Jay was coming with it on that album, i would call it his best after The Blueprint.

I think it's actually cool that he doesn't have what you would except on his list. Everybody and their mama of course would have either a Biggie or Tupac album at No. 1. Or Illmatic in the top three.
