Shake your love vs Shake it of!! So i'm talking about Debbie Gibson's jam from the out of the blue cd vs Mimi's jam from the emancipation of....
These 2 songs have the same sentiment and they are both from Long Island! Which one do you prefer and why? Yes, i'm aware that they sound nothing alike but it's just for shits n' giggles. I love both but I have to go with Debbie! She is so underated. This chick was writing, singing producing and playing piano in her teens.

The music press made a big deal of it at the time, and (as a teenager myself), I was all, "Oh, my gosh! She's the coolestest!"

There was a producer on that album aswell. And he did most of it, but i beleive she wrote it all though, and that geek image really seemed like her too

I feel you on that because when I was a kid and she came out and I was an apsiring dancer/choreographer at the time I was truly inspired by her. Here was this kid that was only a few years older than making doing her own thing. I still think she rocks!

Anyway, you still haven't said which song you prefer. Stick to the debate damn it!
