OLD SCHOOL R&B HEADS: ANY OF Y'ALL REMEMBER "TIMES OF PASSION" BY THE SYSTEM?

Seems like NO ONE remembers this jam BUT MY BLACK ASS! Why is that? People remember their more popish hits like "Don't Disturb This Groove" and "You Are In My System"...but "Times of Passion" was on the same album that "You Are In My System" was on and nobody remembers it and it was even a single! Damn shame, because that song was the joint!

I thought it was just called "Passion" ? I need to pull the album out to make sure. But yeah, that was a jam. The title cut "Sweat" was even better IMO. I used to play the hell out of that first System album.

yes

its called "passion"

7 minutes of funk and synth

when i first heard "sweat" i thought the songs were identical,
they have the same basslines,

sweat is an unbelievable track as is passion.

i got every track on mp3,

even the first album x-scape is the shit,

probably the best synth R&b i ever heard

Ok, cool, thanks for the correction and I'm glad SOMEONE knows that jam! Yeah, Sweat was the shit too! Anybody know how I can get ahold of that album?

I remember that song. It was FONKY. I like all of the Systems music. One of my favorite songs by them is "Promises Can Break". Good stuff! Remember "The House Of Rhythm"? I gotta go out and see if I can get some of their old records.
