I love it too. Great uptempo song. One of the few funky songs that I've heard Lionel Richie do with The Commodores, though I'm sure he's done quite a number of them.
I'm not a fan of "old Prince". I'm not a fan of "new Prince". I'm just a fan of Prince. Simple as that

The title track is kind of Billy Preston-ish.
PRINCE: Always and Forever
MICHAEL JACKSON: Always and Forever

Indeed he has.You should hear jams like "Gimme My Mule","Fancy Dancer","Come Inside" and "Funky Situation".70s funk at it's finest!

"Girl,I Think The World About You" is from their 1976 album 'Hot On The Tracks'.This album also includes the hits "Just to Be Close To You" and "Fancy Dancer".It's my second favorite Commodores album (my fav is the 1977 self-titled album).I recently found all of their 70s albums on vinyl and I have been enjoying them tremendously.

"Lady" although a great song, is right around the time when the Commodores started to lose it. The Commodores were rollin' right up to 1978's "Natural High". "Hot On The Tracks" and "Commodores" are classic.
