What did you think of the show?
Lewis' guitar work was amazing including his version of Funkadelic's 'Hit it and quit it', I wish he did a Prince cover, the thing that shocked me the most was how perfect his vocals are live, the blend of rock and soul worked very well, a lot better than i expected. I'd been waiting 10 years to see Lewis and i wasn't disappointed in the least.

Nice.

I hope his "Coming To America" trip brings him all the way to the West Coast.

I'd love to hear him pull out something rare, like "Cherry Blossom", or "Waves", but that's still a pretty cool song line-up...

I thought it was great, easily the best gig I've seen him doing (I've seen him play about 6 times now). Previously, the band has been sloppy and he's been withdrawn and non-communicative with the audience. Not this time; the band were tighter than a nun's chuff and he seemed relaxed. Vocally he was on top form and the guitar playing wasn't too bad wink

I've always loved "Lewis II" (his best album I reckon) so I was overjoyed to hear "Satisfied".

I reckon you'll see a clip from the Conan show posted on www.lewistaylormusic.com so no need to worry! I understand that he'll be touring the USA in March/April...

He used to do a bit of the "Purple Rain" solo in "Song" - that's probably the closest you'll get to seeing him do a Prince cover!
