Hank Ballard's "From The Love Side"

One of the FUNKIEST, jams I have ever heard.

I was just listening too MusicChoice R&B Classics channell and this came on.

When I heard the beat, I said "This is James Brown or the JB's" but then I said I heard all of thier hits, so I thought maybe it was Bobby Byrd.

I was wrong, It was Hank Ballard. I knew he recorded with JB and the boys in the late 60's and early 70's, but I didn't know he did stuff like this.

Does anyone know what hear this was recorded [LP called King of Funk] and is ther more like it.

MICHAEL JACKSON: Always and Forever

Oh shit, yeah!!!! horns

"only you ... can make do what's right... only you"
This is my favorite song of his during his connection with JB. Hank was a monster in his own right when he recorded songs with The Midnighters but this track with JB is one of the best to come out of the side projects he worked with.
