Wow! Another Bruce fan -- and of all places on the PRINCE boards! I thought I was the only one. They're my two favorite musicians. I'm ready for the Bruce tour!

Add my name to the Springsteen fan list. I love Bruce Springsteen. I believe that he is the only entertainer I've seen who can put on a better live show then Prince.

Ummm...Bruce ain't fat all.

He is tremendous shape for someone his age. He would have to be with the amount of energy he gives to his live performances.

Ok Lovemachine. I´m just kidding!

He makes good music and has nice lyrics: "Hey litle girl is your dady home...oh I´m on fire" Perhaps a nice song for R Kelly to cover... wink

Absolutely. I've been a fan of the Boss for a little longer than I have of Prince (even though I bought "Soft and Wet" when it came out, I didn't get hooked for a few years). In fact, when I sat down and listened to "1999" through headphones, my first commment was, "Damn, this guy is the black Springsteen."

FTIW, I checked the Springsteen newsgroup the other day, and there was a guy there asking if there were any Prince fans around! He was looking for acopy of the 1988 Holland show.

Finally, in the spirit of raising my kids right, my 8-year-old son has seen Bruce once (April 2000) and Prince twice (Hit and Run Tour, ONA tour).

This year, the whole family - including our six-year-old daughter - will be at the Bruce show, and we'll ALL be at Celebration 2003.

Springsteen rocks! I think is right up there with Prince as a live performer. He works a crowd into a frenzy. I am patiently waiting for his next show...

I really like "The Rising" as well.

"Born to Run" is one of my all time faves and his recent live album from Madison Square Garden has been rising to meet it ever since it was released.

So yes...a person can be a Prince fan & like Bruce as well...living proof here!
