I love Teena Marie. She has got to be the baddest and funkiest white woman on the planet. Color never meant shit to her either. She was totally comfortable in a venue being one of the only white people surrounded by 10,000 or more blacks. It didn't mean shit to her either to date outside her race and not give a damn if anyone liked it or not. Long before hip hop came along and made it more "safe" or "acceptable" for a white person to be this way, there was Teena Marie and "me".

By the way does anyone remember the album cover of her on the front is pigtails and a baseball cap or something. Or was that an extended remix? I remember being at someone's house any seeing it and wondering when it came out.
