Mr Rawls will indeed be missed, remembering him every year for years doing the UNCF Parade of Stars. His voice, his singing, his songs, like Lady Love ,You'll Never Find Another Love Like Mine, and a all time favorite of mine (how ironic) Your Good Thing (Is About To End). Rest In Peace "Sweet Lou"

What's ironic about his passing (in a sad way) is that the UNCF Stars telethon is happening this weekend. It was billed as a tribute to Stevie Wonder, but considering how Lou Rawls was literally the backbone and heartbeat of this telethon, I believe that the whole event will be a tribute to him. God bless his soul, not only for the wonderful music he left us with, but for all of the people who went to college thanks to his contributions to the United Negro College Fund.

They just telecast him singing "Very Good Year" (unsure if that is the correct title) and said it was taped in September and was his last national performance.

R.I.P. Sweet Lou...His silky smooth voice was a treasure but his tireless dedication to the UNCF was even more impressive.

When you can sing like Lou you can call him a hack. Since I doubt you can keep your comments to yourself.

Yes, you can but think about how it makes you come off. "Nana" are you five years old.
Maybe that why you don't know a hack from a decent singer
