Madonna´s Swept away" movie

I just saw it on TV, expected it to be a total crap, but eventually I liked the movie. It had a suprising ending, which is something I love about movies. I think it was cool. YOur thoughts, guys?

I rather liked this movie, as well. It might not be an award winner but I don't think it would have gotten near the bad rap if Madonna wasn't in it. I liked her character and how the tables got turned on her.

I think he was laughing, because it was a remake of Swept Away (that was the English translation title anyway). The original regularly pops up on lists of the best foreign language films. The remake regularly pops up on lists of the worst films in recent years.

I remember seeing the original as a child. It's a cool concept. I like when the plane comes and she's so in love, she doesn't want to signal it. ***Male Chauvenist Pig Alert*** I would watch this if Madonna were a bit younger, but she doesn't look so great in a bikini anymore.

That is not an attractive female body IMHO. Looks like a 12-year-old boy.

Yikes.

Thanks Voices. She is in great shape, but it's not like in the Sex book or Papa Don't Preach video anymore.

I won't argue attractive or not because that's all subjective, but how many 12-year-old boys do you know with boobs and muscle tone like that? lol

The boobs are the only thing that stand out as truly feminine. I am not a fan of uber-fit late-40's Madge. She really needs to accentuate her softer features. And lots of scrawny 12-year-olds have muscle tone; look at MJ lol

I sure as hell would. I would much rather have:

You're a personal trainer so perhaps you can appreciate Madonna's body type more than I can.

Me too. I liked the sequel, too. Actually Madonna's character reminded me of some really evil fashion editors I was an assistant to in the past. How I would have LOOOVED for one of those old heffers to be stranded on an island and have the tables turned on them for once...oh well, all's well that ends well, I guess cool...
