Love 'em !! Deep in the soul/jazz/funk/groove bag...They're slammin, but the theAudience is the resident expert on all things soulive, he'll probably fill you in further....

If u dig funk then you'll dig Soulive. Their cd's are funky but live is really we're they kick it off-easily the funkiest band out there right now. | |

You've probably already seen the show at this point.
Seeing Soulive for $20 is one of the best live music bargains available. More bang for your buck than you'd get from some name artists charging 5x as much. Great musicians Groovin' melodic material Genuinely nice people They won't try and distract you with... Costume changes Pyrotechnics Preachy monologues Hordes of hired onstage dancers ...It's all about the music. I saw them in October for $10 and as an unannounced added treat got... 
...to see Stevie Wonder sit in with the band! It appears that they'll be opening for the Rolling Stones (again) some time in January. tA  Tribal Disorder

I am lovin Break Out. Just puts me in a good mood. When I see Ashley Simpson or 50 cent or Eminem get high record sales numbers, my blood pressure rises. I put in Soullive and it calms me down. ---------------------------------

They were great. And the opening band was great too. I forgot their name though. Soulive's keyboard player was also playing bass keyboard at the same time. That was awesome to watch. They are a very polished band and unlike anything I've ever heard. Thanks for the recommendation. | |

They always tour NYC. I think I've seen them seven times and can't wait for the next show. I've to so many that I'm even on their DVD right in the front row. I'm 6' 1" 208 lbs. Hard to miss. (Bet mnay people were cursing me for blocking their view) [Edited 1/7/06 3:45am] | |

Buy it, steal it, download it, just get it!!! Better than anyond one of those albums combined. And even Neal the organ player raved about this release to me PERSONALLY!!! (I think he scense I'm a musician) We talked for a long time and he didn't act like yeah, yeah whatever fan person. We discussed music. Great band. | |

Yeah Neal is very down to earth-chatted with him for about 20 mins. after their Hamilton gig in 2004 & we discussed Chaka Khan who at the time had just sat in with them on drums in LA, Also discussed Prince, D'Angelo & ol school Kool & The Gang-this band is the funkiest band around right now & also down to earth. | |

Yes they are very polished & it's funny that many people still don't know about them but when they catch a show just like me the 1st time I witnessed they we're blown away. | |
