I agree. Jessica's not going to find anyone else who will cherish her (let alone tolerate her) the way Nick did/could.
Did you see my Music Math post? [Edited 1/5/06 19:11pm]

He's such a photogenic guy, I wonder if he can also act a little? He could always take the Jon Bon Jovi route and do supporting roles in odd little movies as the "romantic interest"- since his music career is obviously on down time...he needs some guest appearances in some young nightime drama shows, to remain B+ List, or for respectability, he could pursue a film role in some light ensemble indie film on urban love and angst, like what JBJ did in "City of Angels"...

I keep talking about his appearance w/ her on SNL - I think he can act as well as any of these other dopey guys in movies He could develop, hopefully that's the route he'll take. His music is just too fucking corny... Then again, his CORNY as fuck ex-wife & sister-in-law are selling like mad

Nick is very upset that his best friend, Matt Leinart and USC blew the Rose Bowl. Cut him some slack. He's now looking for some other hot , up and coming college football player to hang with. [Edited 1/6/06 6:18am]

You know what, I watched almost every episode of Newlyweds and I knew that shit wasn't going to last, mostly because of Jessica. She was an uncaring idiot. She did dome stupid shit and I could tell he was trying to tolerate her. He was too educated for her. The man grew up normal in Ohio and went to and finished college. Her career started at 15 or 16 and she's had everything handed to her ever since. They were not really a good match from the jump

From People:
Nick Lachey reveals in an interview that he used to put on Jessica Simpson's shoes and walk around in them – "It was sort of a kinky thing we liked to get into," he tells Elle magazine. Other revelations from Lachey, 32, in the interview include him owning up to "typically (being) an overly sensitive person, I lay my heart out there too often." For instance, he tells Elle, "I've never been shy about crying. Sometimes we're so scared of our emotions that we rob ourselves." Among his emotional admissions: He still thinks his ex is the sexiest woman he's ever seen. He's also a proponent of candid conversation. "I haven't even realized my full dirty talk potential," he claims. As for Simpson, 25, she's set to give a special performance at the Jan. 10 People's Choice Awards, airing on CBS. She's a nominee for favorite song in a movie for her saucy version of "These Boots Are Made for Walkin'" in last summer's The Dukes of Hazzard.

That's about as believable as Ricky Martin bragging about his conquests.
