Beck - Scientology: it's off-putting to hear anyone belongs to this "religion" (cult)...especially one of your favourite musicians...but I can get past that...in recent years he looks a lot moodier in photos and I heard he wasn't the easiest guy to tour with, according to the Flaming Lips.

Frank Zappa - Sarcasm: Frank Zappa had some soul but too often it was obscured by cynical social commentary which, though at times astute and funny...is becoming more dated and gets in the way of some awesome music.

Jimi Hendrix - druggy sloppiness Though you cannot fault his first three albums, in his last years his singing and playing live was in my opinion not always of the same standard as earlier years, most likely due to drug problems or related issues.

Nirvana/Kurt Cobain - see Jimi Hendrix.

Prince - tendency to write crap songs - a musical genius who records most things which pop into his head is bound to lay down some crap once in a while...that's about 10% of his catalogue in my opinion. not much overall, but when Prince makes a dud, it's very noticable compared to the staggering quality of most of the rest of the catalogue (see most of Emancipation, NPS & Rave Un2 the Joy Fantastic).

Bjork - artsy fartsy - I love her a great deal...musically and from what I understand of her as a person and to be truthful I think all of her albums have something wonderful about them...but the latest ones have become increasingly impenetrable for repeated playings. not to say I can't listen to, appreciate or understand them, but more often than not i will return to her earlier work as it contains a certain amount of immediate JOY missing from her later stuff.

Let's hope she never does any work with Ms Bush. It would take 25 years to get out of the gate.

Rolling Stones-

While I'm glad they're still touring
Kieth Richards has obviously been dead for over a decade.
Stop pumping his corpse wit' drugs and let his remains rest.

Maybe they've got him strung up on strings like Bob Barker.

Prince - not enough dance songs in the last few years and not as adventurous and fun as in the past. Tired of hearing him whine about WB. Get over it, you don't have your masters now work on getting those fuckers remastered! He also makes bad choices in singles.

MJ - NOT ENOUGH MUSIC, the music he has released in the last decade has been crap, and he has some scary fans too.

Madonna - as someone said earlier, she needs to leave the electronica alone. Some of her fans are scary too.

Donna Summer - not enough music

Janet Jackson - last 2 albums sucked. She needs to stop singing about her coochie all the damn time and sing about what's happening in the world today (her best music was when she touched on those subjects) or her world outside of her bedroom.

Stevie Wonder - same as Donna and MJ plus he has been oversinging too much.

But Bob Barker doesn't look half as bad as Keith Richards does. lol

What I dislike about most of them is inflated egos.....but that is probably what got them to where they are in the first place! Ya gotta have confidence or you'll never make it!
