Not sure...no idea, really...but can't you just add a quicktime file into your iTunes library using the "Add to library..." option under the "File" drop down menu? a psychotic is someone who just figured out what's going on

The latest version of Quicktime Pro has an option to convert video to an iPod compatible format, IIRC. However, the original format must be something that Quicktime already understands. For other apps, try searching at versiontracker.com for ipod video stuff. It's pretty easy on my Mac but I have no idea the best route to take for Windows or Linux users.

I've been using videora, and it took awhile for me to get it to work but I've got it working pretty well now. If you use it just try a small file first to make sure it works instead of doing your Sign Of the Times, taking hours to convert it, and finding out it's not working
