Jada Pinkett Smith Lives Out Her Axl Rose Dreams http://www.vh1.com/news/a...stid=99548
Will Smith's wife fronts her band metal rock band...Wicked Wisdom... And her influences?? "Pinkett Smith, who listened to everything from Duran Duran to Led Zeppelin, John Coltrane, Prince, Pink Floyd and Mozart as a kid, described the feeling of rocking onstage as being wholly different from kicking ass as Niobe in "The Matrix" sequels."

Wicked Wisdom huh? Well when it comes to an actor or actress fronting a band, I hope she's better at it then Keanu Reeves and Bruce Willis.

I must be the only one who saw her band perform on Leno last week. IT was a trainwreck of epic proportions.

I saw her at the Temple Bar. It was pathetic. test

saw her on Leno. she has no natural stage presence. she has no voice. the music is derivative metal. what was she thinking?

She has the money to back her interests on a bigger scale.

I've posted about WW on here a few times. I like Something Inside of Me and one or two others off the latest album but I also liked their first album which was non-metal but this seems to be the route they're sticking to. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

I agree. They're a great band with rockin' songs and Juliette is more believable as a front woman than Jada. Juliette is rockin' out (almost) in the style of Iggy and The Stooges.

I have not heard the music, and her husband is one of my favorite rappers and actors, so I will give here the benefit of listening to it. However, I did notice on the band's tour dates she is playing the house of blues. No matter if the band is awesome or if they suck, that is one cool place to do a show IMO.
One day I hope to play there, so all the best to her band there! That would be really exciting I would imagine.
