I listened to Black Devil Car on repeat for about a month! It's pretty addictive stuff, they are also a *very* tight band live. Pity the album did not really do that well in the charts...

the whole album´s very addictive. It´s been in my stereo since I got it. If Sony had any brains, they would rush-release "Black Devil Car" as a single. That song is explosive!! It would appeal to a another whole audience.

This track is awesome. I was really hyped up when I heard the album was coming out. Then I listened to the tracks on iTunes (samples) and I just wasn't very impressed with what I heard. However, "Dynamite" was my favorite song on the album. I wonder why it wasn't the first single...anyone have any idea??

I was hipped to Jamiroquai on this board. I finally got the opportunity to hear what all the fuss was about...and it's warranted. Enjoyment to the max..

There's a rumor that the track "Dynamite" will be the fourth single.

I just got my hands on "Synkronized" album and wasn´t that impressed by the album. I love "King for a day" though. Well, could you guys recommend some of his albums? 'Synchronized' is the album that turned me into a fan.I heard it playing in a record store when it was first released and I went nuts.My favorite songs are "Canned Heat","Planet Home","Falling","Butterfly" and the funky "Where Do We Go From Here". I strongly recommend you get your hands on their 2001 album 'A Funk Odyssey'.It is their masterpiece. With this album,Jay Kay had developed into a GREAT songwriter.Songs like "Corner Of The Earth","Picture Of My Life" and the hook-filled "Love Foolosophy" are excellent. The album is an intoxicating mix of 70s disco and modern-day electronica, with a few strong ballads thrown into the mix too.So far,it is the best album that I have heard this decade. Another superb album is 1996's Traveling Without Moving, the album that features their massive international hit "Virtual Insanity".

I´m a fan since their first album ("Emergency on planet Earth") and I got all of them.
Dynamite is a great album, one of their best. The songs "Dynamite", "Feels just like it should", "Seven days in seven june", "Don´t give hate a chance", "Black devil car", they are all fantastic. The level of music writing of Jay Kay has few equal, experimental progressions that work; and on top of all, his incredible singing. Just by this album!

It's probably my least favorite Jamiroquai album, but it's still nice to listen to now and then. It's just a bit "Jamiroquai-by-numbers-ish" for me. On the other hand, I saw them live in December and was really impressed. They are definately True Funk Soldiers Toejam @ Peach & Black Podcast: http://peachandblack.podbean.com
