Allow me to demonstrate the power of the funk in this record: I've known Tim (my better half) for more than 14 years, and have never, ever seen him dance. April 2005 - this record was played at my friend Geri's wedding, and everybody, including Tim got up to dance to it!

Classic. This song pretty much saved his career. Supposedly he was high as hell when he did the cut (He was partying with Sly Stone the night before). He never heard the music and just ran in the booth and improvised the lyrics.

Classic funk! As I recall, the album The Electric Spanking of War Babies (Funkadelic) was suppose to be a double album with Atomic Dog on it. This was when George was in some deep fiscal problems so the record company decided against it but George just did a "solo" album instead, hence Computer Games. As far as electro-funk goes it's quite good and we got Atomic Dog out of it. Fantasy is reality in the world today. But I'll keep hangin in there, that is the only way.

I sho did. Parliment I think pretty much disbanded in 1980 and funkadelic came out with the "Electric spanking of war babies " in 81 I dont think that album did not do to well. I listen to some of it a did not like. and I like a lot of George's stuff.

Atomic Dog is 24 years old. Song is so far ahead of it's time it's still being played in all the dance clubs in America and internationally like it's a new record. You can't go to any dance club in this country and not hear this record played at least once. Now that's Funk! If you notice the tone that song is played in has never been repeated by any artist. Duplicated by never get that tune.

George stated back then, with success of 'One Nation' & 'Uncle Jam', he just wanted to make a album for the band... He was getting back to the core of thangs... But I stated here before, its more of a P.Funk All-Stars album to me... 'Electro-Cuties' was thee jam!!! [Edited 12/31/05 10:03am]
