I believe that story was planted & paid for - that bitch got some jewels outta that comment

oh, c´mon Calhoun. You may get the feeling that I am blindly defending him no matter what, but I get the feeling that you are blindly disparaging him. Why would and heiress of one of the biggest fortunes wanna do anything for money especially when it´s making her look like a fool in the publics eyes? You know, most ppl are like you - feeling she must be mad, sick whatever to have sex with him and she KNOWS that. Why would she wanna do that if it wasn´t the truth?

So Michael had sex with a woman. What a big deal! It´s interesting that ppl find it easy to believe he could rape lil´ boys, but cannot believe he could have sex with a woman.

MJ jumped the shark when he kissed Lisa Marie at the 94 awards. The Curtain got pulled back and the wizard was finished.

MJ has had a long and sordid sexual life, don't mistake damage for asexuality.

Did he have sex with Lisa, I don't doubt it, especially sinced she was diagnosed with Mononucleosis after she left him.

eek What do you mean by sordid? That there was a time when he´d f**k anyone, groupies included. I doubt that. I think he´s more careful than that. I do believe though he had secret girlfiends (or at least women he trusted enough, that it wasn´t just anybody) he had sex with and I believe he had sex with his both wifes (including Debbie - let´s not get into if he loved her or not, but he wanted DESPERATELY kids, so I am sure he was willing to do anything to get them, so why wouldn´t he have sex with her?)

He hasn´t lost anything. Mike´s just one of those artist who don´t realease albums one every year like Madonna and stuff. He´s like Sade. (It´s interesting that ppl don´t bother Sade the way they do MJ for not releasing that much stuff) He just comes when he feels he´s ready to present something he believes in. History was a huge success, Invincible not for several reasons and his break since than has been longer for 2 main reasons - his fatherhood AND f*****g allegations. I believe he´s put himself together and release at least one more album. His dignity won´t let him to let his career end with allegations. I believe he will surprise us with more work, let´s be patient, and let him rest for now, he deserves it after all that hell he´s been through.

I would not say that Michael has "Lost it". I just believe that MJ has to stop trying to make another "Thriller" and just concentrate on the music. He has passed up several opportunities that in my opinion, would have put him back in the mainstream,( 75% of Justin Timberlake's cd is made up of tracks that MJ had turned down for "History" & "Invicincible") only to do songs about the disaster relief. Don't get me wrong, there is nothing wrong with that. It is just not the way to reclaim ur crown as the "King of Pop". He also needs someone in his life that will tell him "NO!" Everyone around him, tends to go along with what he says and does. Sometimes, as his recent trouble shows, this is not a good thing.

I don't see why anyone should want or expect a new age of him as the "King of Pop" anyway, especially at the age of 47. 5 years ago did people want or expect Lionel Richie to recapture his 1984 success? Is Stevie Wonder criticised for not releasing a Grammy winning album every year?

I've said this before, Invincible is his only mistake on wax, the only really unlistenable thing he's ever done. If he makes an album on par with History Disc 2 that would more than die-hard or causal fans could ask for.

That out of the way, I think Michael mentally lost it around the Dangerous era. He had some great advisors (People like Frank DiLeo) and then he cleaned house, got rid of them, basically blaming them for "Bad" not topping "Thriller" saleswise. (Which is just a nutty notion in itself. I mean a goal is nice..but come on.)

Yeah he did the AWESOME "Dangerous" album and the AMAZING HBO concert from the Dangerous tour, which did big numbers for HBO's ratings at the time, but
beyond that, his decisions "on his own" have been kind of off.

Fast forward a decade....When he did LWMJ (With Bashir) with the notion of Bashir following Michael around for that long being a bad idea all together, Michael's "advisors" at the time, didn't even know about it, till it was "too late."

Michael needs to put people around him who are as good as business as he is at dancing. I think he had that with Frank DiLeo. It is a shame he let the man go. From what I've read in Michael biographies..John Branca is also one of Michael's "best advisors." However, Michael fires and re-hires him like he is playing tag.

As far as music wise..I think Michael didn't "lose" it with "Invincible." I think he just put his managers in charge of controlling the album's contents, or he picked weak content, either way, look at the credits of the album's liner notes. It seems more like a Rodney Jenkins album than a Michael Jackson album. It is like he lost the fire in his belly to make good music as one author put it. I mean "Speechless" is a great song, as sappy as some people say it is, it isn't that bad compared to some of the crap on "Invincible." One is left to wonder if Michael really wrote and produced an ENTIRE disc himself, what would happen.

Maybe one day..we will know. Then maybe (and this a big maybe) he will get back to "Bad" sales, and that would be a Thriller for Michael's fans! biggrin
[Edited 12/29/05 9:19am]

I agree with this 110%. After he let DiLeo go, it was downhill from there. I think Michael has control issues. If it doesn't tickle his fancy, you can kiss it goodbye.

I think he really lost it after he severed ties with Qunicy Jones. As much as I love Michael's music, he just never had the same soul he had when he was with Q. I was listening to the "Bad" CD last night and even his voice has changed since that CD. "Dangerous" was mediocre in my opinion. "HIStory" just didn't capture my attention and "Invincible" was unlistenable. If he would just get some producers who desire to bring his soul back. Rodney Jerkins was a joke! He just had to say "Darkchild" on the album, huh?

Mike needs to just chill and come on with it. Point blank.

Ok now I know who Slade is and I know some of the songs but it now begs the question why they were brought up? Nobody bothers them about album releases because nobody cares, nobody remembers them, they have not had a chart hit since 1984. I think you should have thought this one out a bit better mate smile

People bother about mike because he probably *could* make another hit, also while it is true he has stated he only brings an album out every 5 years you have to remember the last time he was actully on tour was nearly TEN YEARS AGO. The last time he toured america was the BAD TOUR which is about TWENTY YEARS AGO!!

Invincuble was not a bad cd by any stretch of the imagination. IMO, it was probably his best attempt at good music since "off the wall" and maybe "Thriller". As for the Stevie Wonder comment. Stevie albums did not see as much as thriller did, combined. While Stevie is a master at his craft, he puts out music for the joy of it....This is something that Michael used to do, but somehow along the way, has forgotten how to do. Once he remembers how, he will be just fine.

"Dangerous" had some hit or miss issues with me. Listening to it now, it just sounds like he was going in too many directions music wise on this album. First of all, that whispery-like voice he uses just annoys me after awhile. Then, "Black or White" sounded like the guitar riff was jacked from Duran Duran. I dunno... this CD just didn't do anything for me. It has that Teddy Riley New Jack Swing to it and it sounds dated as well. It just didn't rock my boat.
