Her work with her 80's band 'Til Tuesday is probably her best, but her solo stuff is still good.

Hey, I had to buy this album again when the special edition came out, so I feel your pain. Still, the SE is soooo worth it! Hell, her live cover of Coldplay's "The Scientist" is worth the price alone!

I thought Til Tuesday's "Everything's Diferent Now" was a tremendous pop record. I liked "Whatever," but it didn't quite grab me the same. Maybe I expected more, where I hadn't expected anything from Til Tuesday.

EDN is definitely TT's best. Personally, my favorite Aimee albums are Bachelor no. 2 or Last Remains of the Dodo and Lost in Space. Whatever is decent, but not her best.

Realize that his name is VoicesCarry lol I like Til Tuesday a good deal (Voices Carry is one of the best tunes of the '80s), but her solo material is stronger, IMO.

Everything's Different Now had inspired lyrics, melodies, hooks, and it stripped away the 80's production of Voices Carry (which is a great song, still). Also it had Elvis Costello, and I was at peak Elvis fandom at that time.

I just felt she was more sonically progressive and lyrically interesting when she was in a band.

No, I'm actually not a massive 'Til Tuesday fan. When I opened an account over two years ago, I used it because it was the song I was listening to at the time and I couldn't think of anything better lol. I've stuck with it for consistency. For real, if my nickname had anything to do with my fam status, it'd be Janet-related.

I'm only teasing, but it did seem fitting that that was your choice smile If names were any indication, you'd think Rip Her to Shreds is my fave Blondie song and that they're my fave group of all time.
